CareerMode are teaming up with a leading diversified property investment group with a portfolio of recognisable and renowned assets across Australia.

With the portfolio continuing to grow, the group is seeking an experienced Property Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent basis. Working closely with the property management team, you'll have full visibility across the portfolio, a direct line to the decision-makers, and the scope to improve systems, build on processes and help drive performance across their assets.

Reporting to the CFO, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

The Role

- Prepare monthly P&L;, financials and reporting packs
- Partner with Property Managers to review financial performance
- Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare accruals, prepayments and property journals
- Manage outgoings calculations through to billing and tenant refunds
- Assist with property acquisitions, developments and divestments
- Support annual budgeting and forecasting




- Provide analysis and insightful commentary on performance
- Identify and implement process and systems improvements

About You

- CA or CPA qualified (or near completion)
- Demonstrated experience in property accounting is highly desirable for this role
- Solid understanding of accounting principles
- Strong financial reporting and analytical skills
- Advanced Excel
