What You'll Be Doing The Property Manager will drive and implement property management strategies across NSLHD, perform complex strategic property retail and non-retail leasing,
land dealing and asset planning analysis to identify opportunities for best practice property management, maximise rental return to NSLHD and reduce property related risks in NSLHD. Specifically, the Property Manager will manage all NSLHD property leasing, valuation, land dealings and planning matters, and provide the central liaison point with the Ministry of Health and/ or Health Infrastructure for all property procurement and disposal functions.
The Property Manager will provide high level advice to the District on property and lease options to enhance space utilisation and property management in line with service requirements.
The role will require widespread stakeholder engagement and will need to ensure compliance with Ministry of Health and NSLHD policies and guidelines while seeking to adopt innovative, best practice property management solutions.
The role will work closely with the NSLHD Strategic Procurement and Contracts team and develop joint proposals for ongoing contracts management within NSLHD.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply. Candidates will need to meet the following criteria.
- Tertiary qualifications in business, commerce or property or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated experience in communication, stakeholder management, negotiation and conflict resolution to achieve required outcomes.
- Extensive experience managing and maintaining diverse property portfolios, including retail and non-retail leasing arrangements.
- Excellent ability to effectively manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and prioritise workload in a complex property management environment.
