Bellwether is a construction advisory and contracting business. We provide Project Management and support services to private and government client's right across Australia and beyond. Our people come from major infrastructure backgrounds and bring with them hands-on experience in the planning and delivery of some of Australia’s biggest and iconic civil infrastructure projects.

Our internal recruitment function covers everything from tenders and contracts to onboarding and general administration — which means the day-to-day work of finding excellent people doesn't always get the attention it deserves.

That's where you come in.

We're looking for a Recruitment Resourcer to own the front end of our hiring process: finding talent, screening potential candidates properly, and keeping a genuine pipeline moving so we're never starting from zero when a role opens up.

Location: Brisbane CBD, remote considered Start: Negotiable

What you'll be doing

- Monitoring applications from our job advertising campaigns and giving CVs a proper first look
- Running initial candidate conversations over Teams to gauge fit and relevant skillset before they reach our internal recruiter
- Proactively searching LinkedIn and other channels for people who suit our current and future needs
- Approaching prospective candidates directly on Bellwether's behalf
- Building and maintaining our resources pool for both live and anticipated vacancies
- Capturing market intelligence — salary expectations, location preferences, availability — as you go
- Keeping candidate records and activity current in our internal CRM system

What you won't be doing

This isn't a full-cycle recruiter role.



Formal interviews, testing, hiring decisions, contracts, and onboarding stay with our internal recruitment team — your focus is sourcing and screening, done well and done consistently.

What we're after

- Recruitment or resourcing experience, ideally with exposure to civil or infrastructure contractors (Tier 1, 2 or 3)
- Comfortable working independently and reporting into a small internal team
- Confident using an ATS/CRM — JobAdder experience is a plus
- Sharp CV-screening judgement and a genuine ability to read between the lines on a candidate profile
- Discretion — you'll be across confidential candidate and business information and will be asked to enter into a confidentiality agreement
- Comfortable in a fast-moving, full-time role where priorities shift day to day
