Why is this role for you?

You’re an SPE who wants to get their life back. No more Sat work or 60+ hour week.

You've always enjoyed the front-end process of a project. You know that getting it right makes delivery a whole lot easier and gives you an excellent chance to make a consistent profit.

You enjoy looking at the design of projects and working out how to make it more efficient, how to improve methodology, and what is best practice for the construction stage.

You don’t need to have previous ECI or preconstruction experience for this role.
Your experience on site is what you’ll bring to the table — knowing what will work, spotting problems early and explaining better options to clients and consultants. Strong programming skills and a good commercial head will give you a solid base to build on.

You’d work on new projects in the $10–$100 million range and, after initial training and support, you’d be across 3 projects at a time after 6 months.

Salary will start in the $180–$230k package range plus a yearly bonus (paid out for the past 10 years). Other perks include salary insurance, a wellbeing scheme, a parental leave scheme and regular social events that help explain why they had 91% staff retention last year.

Sounds great, what skills do I need for the role?

We’d love to speak with you if you tick the following 4 attributes:

- You’re an SPE with 5+ years’ experience across project engineering in Australia on recent-build projects worth $20 million+
- You’ve been involved in live environments, complex builds, excavations and worked on structures within projects
- Working on ECIs and bid management really interests you. Being across a few things and juggling tasks is second nature to you, and what you don’t know, you are very keen to learn
- You are a positive and astute communicator who can see the bigger picture and understands the importance of building and maintaining relationships at all levels
