About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Superintendent – Conveyor Belting to provide strategic leadership across our conveyor maintenance, shutdown, project and Field Service operations. In this role, you'll drive operational excellence through proactive planning, resource optimisation, and long term maintenance strategies that enhance reliability, safety and customer outcomes.

Working closely with clients, site stakeholders and internal leaders, you'll identify growth opportunities, support tender and business development activities, and ensure the successful delivery of operational and project objectives. Leading a team of employees and contractors, you'll foster a high performance culture focused on safety, continuous improvement, and sustainable business growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Lead strategic conveyor maintenance planning to maximise asset reliability and operational performance.
- Plan and oversee shutdowns, major overhauls and capital projects.
- Ensure work is completed safely and in line with HSE requirements, risk assessments and critical controls.
- Provide strong field leadership through coaching, mentoring and hands-on support.
- Manage budgets, resources and delivery to meet operational requirements.
- Build strong relationships with clients and site stakeholders.




- Identify and drive opportunities to improve safety, reliability and performance.

Section criteria:

- Previous management experience within the mining, heavy industrial or field service industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Strong financial acumen, including the ability to understand and contribute to P&L; performance.
- Robust computer literacy and experience working with operational and financial systems.
- Strong understanding of industry best practice, relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice and applicable standards.
