The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Senior Farm Hand to join the team of a family enterprise located just 5km from Moonie. You will be integral to the smooth operation of their 9,500-acre mixed enterprise, which balances 4,500 acres of dryland cropping and hay production with a herd of 300-350 Angus breeders.

Ideally, you will be a self-starter who uses common sense to problem solve, can follow a provided program, and works autonomously when required to achieve the overall team's goals. You will be hands-on with a wide range of essential daily tasks, from precision spraying and planting to diligent machinery maintenance, operating a high-quality fleet, including John Deere tractors and Hayes Sprayrigs, whilst ensuring that every task is executed with precision and care to maintain the property's high standards.

You will be joining an operation that prioritises a well-maintained environment and high-standard equipment, allowing you to focus on what you do best in a stable and organised setting.

- Proven experience in broadacre cropping, including spraying and planting operations.
- Strong mechanical aptitude to ensure the upkeep of machinery like John Deere tractors and Volvo trucks.
- A genuine work ethic that is collaborative, dependable, and focused on maintaining a tidy, efficient workplace.
- Ability to assist with livestock tasks as needed, showing versatility across mixed farming enterprises.
