Senior Engineer – Auth0 (hands on Auth0 experience essential)

About the opportunity:

A specialist technology consultancy is expanding its identity practice and looking for an experienced Senior Engineer to join a dedicated identity team, helping customers design and build secure, scalable Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) solutions used by millions of end users. This is a genuinely hands on engagement, with a strong and growing pipeline of Auth0 work behind it.

What you'll be doing:

- Design and deliver Auth0 based CIAM solutions for customers
- Work with modern authentication and authorisation patterns using OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML and federation
- Build registration, login, account recovery and self service identity journeys
- Build custom Auth0 Actions and extensibility solutions for complex business requirements




- Work directly with customer stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable identity solutions
- Contribute to engineering excellence through automation, CI/CD and modern cloud native delivery

What we need to see:

- Hands on Auth0 experience (a couple of years minimum), this is essential
- Strong identity background more broadly (Okta, Ping or similar all welcome)
- Deep understanding of CIAM, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SSO, MFA and federation
- Robust coding background across JavaScript / Node.js, TypeScript or .NET
- Comfortable working directly with customers in a consultancy style setting
- Confident presenting and advising without needing hand holding

Bonus points:

- Experience mentoring other engineers
- Background in a consultancy or professional services environment
- Exposure to multi tenant Auth0 setups (Organizations, custom domains)
- Experience migrating legacy Rules to Auth0 Actions
