We're seeking an experienced and commercially minded leader to join our team as Business Improvement Manager - Food.

This newly created role will lead continuous improvement initiatives across food service operations, driving consistency, operational excellence, food quality, client satisfaction, and profitability. The successful candidate will partner closely with operational leaders, chefs, procurement, finance, and client stakeholders to elevate food service standards and deliver sustainable business outcomes.

About the Role

As the Food Operations subject matter expert, you will:

- Develop and implement standardised food service practices across operations.
- Drive food cost optimisation, waste reduction, and margin improvement initiatives.
- Lead continuous improvement programs using data, analytics, and best practice methodologies.
- Enhance culinary capability through training, coaching, and leadership development.
- Improve food safety, compliance, and quality outcomes across sites.
- Support mobilisations, operational reviews, and business growth opportunities.




- Influence stakeholders and drive strategic food service excellence across the business.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a high-performing leader who brings:

- Extensive experience leading large-scale food service operations.
- Strong commercial, financial, and analytical capability.
- Experience managing multiple sites or complex operational portfolios.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- A passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Qualifications in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Business, or a related discipline.

The following will be highly regarded:

- Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement certification.
- Food Safety Auditor qualifications.
- Project Management qualifications.
- Experience in remote, resources, healthcare, defence, education, or institutional catering environments.
