Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Conveyancer to join our legal team in Kotara, New South Wales. This permanent, full-time position is essential for facilitating property transactions and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of conveyancing processes and demonstrate exceptional client service skills, contributing to our firm’s reputation for excellence in the legal industry.

Responsibilities:

- Manage all aspects of the conveyancing process from initial instruction to completion.
- Prepare and review legal documents, including contracts and transfer documents.
- Conduct property searches and liaise with relevant authorities to ensure compliance.
- Coordinate electronic settlements through PEXA.
- Provide expert advice to clients on property transactions and legal obligations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the conveyancing process.
- Prepare settlement figures and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with clients, estate agents, and other stakeholders.
- Resolve any issues or disputes that may arise during the conveyancing process.
- Ensure compliance with NSW property legislation and legal requirements.
- Stay updated on changes in property law and conveyancing practices.





Qualifications:

- A valid practising certificate as a Licensed Conveyancer in New South Wales.
- Proven experience in conveyancing, ideally two years experience.
- Strong knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in using conveyancing software and legal research tools.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
