Are you currently working for a real estate office, making cold calls and trying to pick up listings? You know you are positive at what you do…but are thinking, “I want to earn more”?
Come and work for a builder that sells house and land packages through investment groups.
As a Channel Manager, your clients will be marketing groups, and your goal will be to secure EOIs on packages quickly by promoting the company, the build process and the quality of its homes.
What does this role involve? You will be a professional social butterfly. You will have no issues picking up the phone and building rapport with marketing groups, accountants, financial planners and anyone else who supports new home buyers.
How will you know you have done a good job? Those marketing groups will sign up as agency partners, present house and land packages to their clients and send you the EOIs.
You will answer questions about the packages from their clients or direct them to the appropriate internal departments for additional information when required.
Once you have built strong relationships with your channel groups, they will come to you with specific client requests. Sometimes their clients will prefer other estates, and you will work with the internal land supply coordinators to help package suitable properties.
So, how will coming from general real estate help you? You need to be resilient,
recognise opportunities, build rapport and bring plenty of energy. You will have a passion for property, understand the terminology and know the different estates across SEQ.
You will need to be organised and driven to become a high performer. You will not be micromanaged—you will be expected to achieve results independently.
If you are expecting your hand to be held—nope. We are going to throw you in the deep end, and I expect you to use that grit to come to the surface and thrive…while making great commission.
You will need a car to visit your clients’ offices. The office is based in Hamilton, but apart from team meetings, your office will be your laptop and phone, as you will be on the go.
Unlike many real estate roles, this position pays a decent base salary, with an OTE of between $200,000 and $300,000 per annum. Superstars in the industry with more than five years of experience are earning over $500,000.
If this sounds like you, send your resume ASAP. Wow me with your results and achievements—show me who you are!
As with all our roles, you must have full Australian working rights. No student or temporary visas, thank you.
