Your opportunity:

In this role, you'll work directly with students experiencing mild to moderate mental health concerns, providing early intervention and therapeutic support that can make a real difference to their learning, engagement, and everyday wellbeing. You'll be part of the school's established student support team, working collaboratively with educators and other professionals to strengthen the support around each child and young person.

This position is well suited to provisional psychologists and early-career psychologists, with structured supervision provided. Supervision toward the internship program and clinical registrar program can also be supported. Students currently completing their studies are warmly encouraged to apply, making this a great opportunity to build experience, confidence, and impact in a supportive school-based environment.

Responsibilities include:

- Provide therapeutic support for students with mild to moderate mental health support needs




- Work collaboratively with school-based teams to support student wellbeing through both individual, group and whole school wellbeing programs;
- Maintaining adequate records and track data as required
- Providing professional development opportunities for teachers and parents around mental health interventions and supports;
- Follow your professional code of ethics to maintain privacy and confidentiality of student information.

Applicants are required to have;

- Good communication skills
- Flexibility
- Knowledge of case formulation and intervention models
- Clear therapeutic framework and professional practice strategies
