The Jewish Community Council of Victoria (JCCV) is looking for a recent Public Affairs Manager to help lead our advocacy, government relations and media strategy at a pivotal moment for our community.

This is a newly created role, working closely with our CEO to strengthen the JCCV's voice with government, media and local councils — including our advocacy on the Royal Commission into Antisemitism and Social Cohesion.

What you'll do:

? Lead policy submissions, briefings and advocacy campaigns

? Manage media relations and strategic communications

? Build relationships across government, media and community stakeholders

? Monitor legislative and policy developments affecting Victorian Jewish community

What we're looking for:

✔️ Experience in public affairs,



government relations or media

✔️ Strong understanding of Victorian political and policy processes

✔️ Excellent writing and stakeholder engagement skills

✔️ Sound judgement and the ability to work across the political spectrum
