We now have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Purchasing Officer to join our Purchasing and Supply Chain/Logistics team.
About the Role
This role will be responsible for:
- Processing Free On Board (FOB) orders and ensuring timely delivery.
- Ensuring purchase orders are placed in a timely manner, based on product sales forecast and promotional activities.
- Liaise with our China office and freight forwarders on shipment dates and details.
- Verifying the accuracy and compliance of shipping legal documents.
- Managing incoming freight,
customs clearances and associated paperwork.
- Ensuring inventory levels in warehouses are sufficiently met and timely co-ordination of stock ordering/transfers.
- Conducting regular forecast review meetings.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure customer expectations are met.
About You
We are looking for detail-oriented and analytical individuals who thrive in a cooperative team environment. You will bring the following qualifications and skills:
- Proficiency in Mandarin is mandatory.
- A tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or Finance (graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with ERP systems (such as Pronto, SAP, or Oracle) is highly desirable.
