Join Our Shutdown Team

We're looking for a highly skilled QA/QC Welding Inspector to join our shutdown team in Gladstone for an exciting chance with one of the world's leading mining companies. This role commences in October and runs for a duration of 4 weeks.

Your Responsibilities:

- Provide technical guidance and quality assurance/quality control across the shutdown
- Review and correct contractor-supplied welding procedures and ITPs




- Review service provider accreditation and witness certification (sampling)
- Produce MDRs and closeout documentation
- Escalate quality or schedule issues as required

Your Skills & Qualifications:

- WTIA Certificate 10 – Welding Inspection (or equivalent)
- Relevant experience in shutdown activities
- Subcontractor coordination and management skills
- Dedication to health, safety, and environmental standards
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical
- Full working rights in Australia
