Founded in 2017, Axis Mineral Services Pty Ltd(‘Axis’) specialise in crushing & ore sorting services for all requirements in Mining, Milling, Processing and Civil applications. Axis are currently running crushing circuits, ROM Management and general site works operations across a number of projects in the Goldfields regions, within the Mining and Civil Construction sectors.

We have opportunities for an intermediate experienced Purchasing Officer / Stores Person to join our rapidly growing business, in our Kalgoorlie-based warehouse.

The role will include:

Reporting to the Warehouse & Distribution Supervisor, this role will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Purchase and expedite materials, parts, supplies, equipment and services, as required by field operations;
- Negotiate with suppliers to optimise price, delivery and terms;
- Monitor and follow up outstanding purchase orders;
- Operating a Forklift to receive, store, pack and dispatch warehouse goods safely;
- Updating warehousing inventory system to enable accurate visibility of stock levels;
- Participation in stocktakes;
- Picking, packing orders ready for delivery and dispatch to our project sites located across the Goldfields;
- Making deliveries to and collections from various locations;
- Following instructions and ensure regular flow of inventory to meet adequate and appropriate supply as per company guidelines;




- Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards in the warehouse;
- Performing general warehouse duties and other duties as required;
- Support our site teams and internal stakeholders with order queries; and
- Maintain a strong and healthy supplier and contractor relationships.

We would love to talk to you if you:

- Have a current WA drivers licence
- Have a forklift ticket and at least 1+ years’ experience operating a forklift in a warehouse/stores environment;
- Are able to work autonomously;
- Have experience working with Buildsmart / MEX or other inventory / warehouse systems, advantageous but not essential;
- Have exceptional attention to detail and initiative;
- Have the ability to plan and effectively prioritise work tasks to meet deadlines;
- Are motivated and reflect a positive attitude; and
- have a strong willingness to continually learn about the business and develop knowledge.
