As a Purchasing Officer, you'll help keep critical health services running smoothly by ensuring purchasing and supply processes are efficient, reliable and customer-focused. From supporting stakeholders with their procurement needs to strengthening supply outcomes across the organisation, you'll work with a connected team that contributes to better experiences for patients, staff and communities.

Every day, you'll contribute by:

- Delivering timely purchasing, inventory and contract support that helps teams access the resources they need.
- Building trusted relationships with stakeholders and suppliers to provide advice, resolve issues and improve service outcomes.
- Monitoring purchasing activities and financial processes to maintain accuracy, compliance and value for money.
- Identifying opportunities to streamline processes, improve performance and support contemporary procurement practices.

- Experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory, supply or related business operations.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- The ability to work effectively with systems, data and processes in a complex workplace.
- A collaborative mindset with a focus on service, accountability and continuous improvement.

You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience using SAP S/4HANA or similar enterprise systems and/or a qualification in purchasing, procurement or a related field.
