Fuse Recruitment are currently sourcing for an experienced Production operator to work in a Lab / production environment for an initial 3 month role.

This National Leader in their field specializes in building products.

You will also utilise forklifts in this role.

Located in Carole Park with onsite parking and also accessible by public transport.

- Training proved in Laboratory and Quality Assurance environments!

The Client: A National brand specialising in the cement and timber building industries, located in Carole Park.

The Role:

You will be assisting in our clients Laboratory and quality team. Training will be provided and you will assist with recording material samples, labelling products and utilising forklifts to move palletised goods from the QA Department to production areas.

Duties:

Lab, Computer and Manual handling duties: (training provided)

- Prepare goods for QA testing and sampling
- Unloading palletised goods for lab technicians to complete testing on
- Palletising finished goods from the lab
- Matching coding, and lab sample numbers to products
- Data entry of testing and sampling records

Forklift operation:
- Transfer products from the lab area to despatch area
- Transfer products to/from outside storage area
- Transfer products from receiving to the lab




- Transfer products from the lab to production lines

This is a loud, dusty and at times dirty environment to work in.

The Candidates:

To be successful in obtaining this role you will have:

- Current valid LF Forklift license
- Laboratory / Production environment experience
- Data entry experience
- Ability to match bar codes, sample codes and Test numbers to products
- Forklift operating experience
- Experience loading and unloading trucks and moving palletised goods
- Experience in oversized pallets and working with ugly freight
- Pick packing, palletising stock
- Shrink wrapping (Both manual and machine operated)
- Experience working with oversized stock such as timber and wood products
- Excellent attention to detail
- Previous experience in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent WHS knowledge
- An ability to commit to the role in an ongoing capacity
