The Role

Perched above Melbourne's theatre district, Rooftop at QT is one of the city's most iconic bar destinations, with skyline views that do the talking and a crowd that knows a good drink when they see one. We're looking for a casual Bartender who brings genuine craft, personality and energy to every service. If you love a well-made drink,



thrive when the room is buzzing and want to work at a venue that genuinely has something worth talking about, this is where you want to be.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver warm, attentive bar service to guests at Rooftop at QT, anticipating their needs and exceeding their expectations with every interaction.
- Prepare and serve a full range of beverages to the hotel's quality standards, ensuring consistency, presentation and responsible service at all times.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the food and beverage menu, including the ability to guide guests through drinks, pairings and dietary requirements with confidence.
- Keep your section stocked, clean and guest-ready throughout service, completing all opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Handle payments accurately, adhere to all cashiering policies and ensure all operating equipment is maintained and protected.
- Participate in rostered training sessions, attend all scheduled meetings and support other departments and outlets when required.

What You'll Bring

- Previous experience in a bartender role within a hotel, bar or premium hospitality venue.
- A solid knowledge of cocktails, spirits and beverage service with a commitment to quality and consistency.
- A warm, polished manner and the confidence to connect with guests in a buzzing rooftop environment.




- A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
- Impeccable personal presentation and a qualified, positive attitude under pressure.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
