We are seeking A Qualified Carpenter or an Experienced Tradesman/Handyman looking for a change to join our team. This is a casual F/T role, Monday - Friday Night & Day shifts. As an experienced trades professional, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our construction site and facilities.
What you'll be doing
- Undertake a variety of general maintenance and repair work, Commercial strip out's, including carpentry, plastering, painting and other building tasks
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, then complete necessary repairs in a timely and efficient manner
- Work collaboratively with our construction teams to ensure projects are completed to a high standard
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following all relevant health and safety protocols
- Provide feedback and recommendations to improve processes and efficiencies
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
What we're looking for
- A qualified tradesperson, with a broad skill set across multiple trade areas
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with a keen eye for detail
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with clients and colleagues
- Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks
- A current driver's licence and reliable transportation
- Forklift licence & EWP not compulsory but is preferred
- White card
- Knowledge of the building industry

- Underwood QLD 4119: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
- Plastering: 4 years (Preferred)
- Cabinet Making/Carpentry: 4 years (Preferred)
- Carpentry/Plastering: 4 years (Preferred)
