At Finncare, we are looking for a forward-thinking and energetic Quality & Compliance Coordinator to bring those elements together across Finncare’s residential and home support services. We are excited to have you join our team on a full-time or part-time basis - we are flexible for the right candidate.

This opportunity is in office only at our beautiful community in Thornlands, Southeast of Brisbane.

Working closely with our leadership team, you will champion our quality frameworks, facilitate staff education, and drive successful accreditation outcomes across both our 61-bed residential aged care facility and our home support services.

What You’ll Be Doing In this multifaceted role, you will be the driving force behind our quality standards, training programs, and accreditation success.



Key responsibilities include:

- Compliance: Ensure the organisation is compliant at all times across all departments. Guide and assist the team to maintain compliance.
- Continuous Improvement: Maintain and advance organisational Continuous Improvement Plans in close collaboration with the leadership team.
- Education & Staff Development: Coordinate, plan, and facilitate education and training programs for care and nursing staff to foster a skilled, confident workforce.
- Auditing & Reporting: Conduct internal quality audits across operations, compiling actionable reports and insights for management and executive leadership.

About You You are a proactive, honest, and innovative professional who brings experience from aged care quality, compliance, risk management, governance, education, clinical services, or another relevant background. You don’t hesitate to speak up and identify improvement opportunities. You are a natural team player and proactively work as a part of the team. You have a collaborative working style and a natural ability to foster a positive, supportive workplace culture.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Qualification in Quality Management, Health Management, Nursing, Business,



Governance or a related field.
- Training in risk management, clinical governance and/or incident investigation/root cause analysis.
- Must have experience inquality, compliance, risk management and accreditation activities in aged care.
- Sound knowledge of the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, Aged Care Act and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in working with risk management, compliance, internal auditing and continuous improvement.
