About the Role

As our Quality & Warranty Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing quality inspections, warranty inspections, defect rectification, client communication, and documentation across Buildlab projects throughout Victoria.

Acting as the link between homeowners, trades, site teams, and internal stakeholders, you'll ensure every home meets Buildlab's quality standards while delivering a premium customer experience.

This is a hands-on role that combines construction knowledge, relationship management, problem solving, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Inspections

Conduct final quality assurance inspections prior to handover.

Identify defects and non-conformances and allocate rectification works.

Ensure homes meet Buildlab quality requirements and Victorian building standards.

Complete detailed inspection reports and photographic records.

Warranty Management

Conduct 90-day warranty inspections.





Assess and document defects and warranty requests.

Provide practical and timely solutions for homeowners.

Manage warranty items from identification through to closure.

Customer Experience

Respond to client enquiries professionally and promptly.

Maintain regular communication and provide progress updates.

Build trust through transparency, empathy, and accountability.

Deliver an experience that reflects Buildlab's commitment to customer satisfaction.

Defect Resolution

Coordinate and schedule trade contractors to complete rectification works.

Monitor progress and ensure works are completed within required timeframes.

Conduct follow-up inspections to verify quality outcomes.

Obtain client sign-off upon completion of works.

Systems & Documentation

Maintain accurate records within Buildlab's Evolve platform.

Upload inspection reports, photographs, notes, and supporting documentation.

Track actions, trade attendance, follow-ups, and project status updates.

Ensure all records are complete, professional, and up to date.

About You

You are customer-focused, highly organised, and passionate about delivering quality outcomes.

Ideally, you will have:

Experience in residential construction, warranty,



quality assurance, site supervision, or defect management.

Solid knowledge of residential building standards and workmanship quality.

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

The ability to build positive relationships with clients, trades, and internal teams.

Strong planning, organisational, and time-management skills.

Confidence using construction management or job management software.

A proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

A current driver's licence.

Most importantly, you're someone who takes ownership, sets high standards, and genuinely cares about achieving the best possible outcome for every client.
