Your new role
As a Quantitative Analyst, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and validating quantitative models that support key business and risk decisions. Working closely with stakeholders across analytics, finance, technology, and business teams, you will leverage advanced statistical techniques and large datasets to deliver actionable insights and improve decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining quantitative and predictive models.
- Conducting complex statistical analysis across large datasets.
- Building analytical solutions using Python, SQL, and other quantitative tools.
- Supporting model validation, testing, and performance monitoring activities.
- Delivering forecasting, scenario analysis, and risk modelling initiatives.
- Translating complex analytical findings into clear business recommendations.
- Collaborating with data and technology teams to improve data quality and model effectiveness.
- Producing technical documentation and presenting insights to senior stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience working as a Quantitative Analyst, Quantitative Researcher, Risk Analyst, Data Scientist, or similar analytical role.
- Strong expertise in Python and SQL.
- Experience developing statistical, predictive, or financial models.
- Strong understanding of probability, statistics, econometrics, or quantitative finance.
- Experience working with large, complex datasets.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience within banking, financial services, insurance, or other regulated industries is highly desirable.
- Tertiary qualification in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Data Science, Physics, or a related discipline.
