Ilim College is seeking a passionate and dedicated Qur'an, Arabic & Islamic Studies Teacher to join our Dallas Secondary Campus for the 2027 academic year.

This is a full-time replacement position for an educator who is passionate about Islamic education and committed to supporting students in developing their knowledge and understanding of the Qur'an, Arabic language and Islamic Studies.

About the Role

As a Qur'an, Arabic & Islamic Studies Teacher, you will:

- Plan and deliver engaging Qur'an, Arabic and Islamic Studies lessons for Secondary students
- Support students in developing their Qur'anic recitation, knowledge and understanding
- Develop students' Arabic language skills across varying levels of ability
- Foster students' understanding and appreciation of Islamic teachings, values and practices
- Monitor, assess and report on student learning and progress
- Create a positive, respectful and engaging classroom environment
- Differentiate learning to meet individual student needs
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and College leadership
- Contribute positively to the Islamic ethos and wider life of the College

What You'll Bring

- Relevant tertiary teaching qualifications
- Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
- Strong knowledge of the Qur'an,



Arabic language and Islamic Studies
- Demonstrated ability to engage and support Secondary students
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated learning experiences
- A collaborative and skilled approach
- Commitment to the Islamic values, ethos and educational philosophy of Ilim College
