About the role An opportunity to provide a high level of radiographic examinations to patients of Western NSW Local Health District (WNSWLHD) in a variety of imaging modalities in accordance with established radiographic practices whilst ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout.
To perform the necessary administrative functions required to ensure patient’s examinations are completed. To perform the associated manual handling tasks required to complete radiographic examinations, including patient transfers if required.
Participate actively in own performance and professional development to ensure currency with established radiographic practices and procedures. Working hours consist of rostered shifts and after hours on-call duties.
This role offers the chance to work within a busy and varied regional imaging department, providing high quality diagnostic X-ray and CT services to patients across outpatient, inpatient, emergency and theatre settings.
You will be working with a hospital multidisciplinary team that includes radiographers, sonographers, nurses, medical officers, allied health staff and administrative staff, providing a safe, efficient and compassionate service.
This role will be supported to contribute to continuous improvement, clinical education, service development, and opportunities to develop skills further.
