Brand new opportunity has been created to lead our Workshop over two sites located at Truganina and Albion.

n

With outstanding leadership skills and technical knowledge, some of the key outcomes for this
n position include:

n

Ensure an effective change management process, including the planning and execution of any
n physical move of depot locations, efficient staff management and the establishment of new
n systems of work to ensure the strategic delivery of safe, reliable and roadworthy vehicles in line
n with Bus Safety standards.

n

Foster a positive, safety-conscious, and customer-centric culture within the workshop / paintshop.

n

Inspire and manage your team, driving a culture that prioritises safety, productivity and
n collaboration.

n

Manage the overall operations of the service workshop / paintshop including workflow,
n resource allocation, quality standards, productive turnaround times of all vehicle maintenance
n tasks.

n

Management of financial budgets and assets to ensure controlled expenditure and best value
n for money and quality.

n

Ensure compliance and leadership with health and safety regulations and established policies
n and procedures.

n

To be successful in this role you must have:

n

Hold a heavy vehicle trade certificate with valid MR/HR licence.

n

Strong technical knowledge and the ability to provide hands‐on guidance to the workshop /
n paintshop team.

n

Demonstrated experience diagnosing and rectifying complex issues across all bus systems.

n

Excellent problem‐solving, decision‐making, and time management skills.

n





Proven track record of leading and motivating a team to achieve operational excellence.

n

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
n across departments.
