We’re looking for a practical, reliable Handyperson to join our Engineering team. You’ll support the upkeep of guest rooms, public spaces and back-of-house areas, responding to maintenance requests and helping create a safe, comfortable workplace for guests and colleagues.

What You’ll Do

- Complete general repairs and maintenance across the hotel
- Assist with painting, patching, carpentry, tiling and basic plumbing tasks
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests
- Support preventative maintenance programs
- Keep guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces in excellent condition
- Work safely and follow all relevant procedures
- Liaise with colleagues and contractors to resolve issues efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organised and professional work area

Qualifications

What you’ll bring

- Previous experience in a handyperson, maintenance or facilities role




- Practical skills across general building and property maintenance
- A positive, can-do attitude and strong attention to detail
- Good communication and time-management skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A commitment to safety and quality
- Flexibility to work across a range of shifts, including weekends when required
- Trade qualifications are valued but not essential
- Must already have ongoing and current working rights for Australia
