The opportunity
Reporting to – and being mentored 1:1 by – a highly respected Accredited Specialist
Partner, you will:

- Run your own plaintiff personal injury practice and client files
- Act for clients in a mix of:Institutional abuse claims (highly regarded experience),CTP (motor vehicle accident) claims Public liability claims Work injury damages matters.
- Conduct all aspects of litigation, including:
- Liability and quantum assessment
- Drafting pleadings and advices
- Preparing evidence and briefing counsel
- Negotiations, mediations and court appearances where appropriate;
- Work closely with senior practitioners on more complex or high-value matters;
- Contribute to matter strategy, client care and process improvement within the team

Depending on your level (2+ PQE up to Senior Associate), you’ll be given responsibility and
autonomy appropriate to your experience.

About you
We’d love to hear from you if you:

- Are admitted as a solicitor in NSW (or able to be admitted)
- Have minimum 2+ years’ post-admission experience running your own plaintiff personal injury files in at least two of:Institutional abuse claims (highly regarded),CTP, Public liability,Work injury damages
- Have solid litigation and court advocacy experience
- Possess a strong understanding of relevant legislation, case law and procedure
- Have excellent communication, client care and advocacy skills
- Are proactive, results- and deadline-driven, with a “can-do” positive attitude
- Are hungry to advance your career long-term with an outstanding, innovative plaintiff firm
