YOUR ROLE

In this KEY valued role, you will love the CHALLENGE+ immense SATISFACTION of being the RIGHT HAND to a talented personal injury lawyer assisting with helping seriously injured clients obtain justice in respect of their :

- CTP (motor vehicle accidents) and Workers Compensation claims
- TPD (total permanent disablement)/income protection/trauma insurance claims via their superannuation fund+ other insurance policies.

You will get hands-on BROAD-SPECTRUM experience assisting your solicitor including:

- obtaining client instructions, typing/preparing letters,legal forms/court documents, diary management, legal research, liaising with the super fund, insurers/their solicitors and doctors, preparing briefs to counsel and general administration tasks.

WHO YOU ARE

We are interested in hearing from you if you:

- Are a paralegal/law student OR a 'career' legal secretary/paralegal with minimum 2 years OR MORE PLAINTIFF personal injury legal experience;
- are NOT seeking to get admitted to practice as a lawyer for at least 1.5-2 years and happy to commit minimum 2 years as a paralegal;
- have had some experience in TPD/super/income protection insurance experience, CTP and/or workers compensation/work injury damages;
- have strong Microsoft Office (including Word) skills;
- have strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- are highly organized and can meet deadlines;
- can work in a vibrant, fast-paced environment;
- are hungry to progress your personal injury legal career LONG-TERM with an employer committed to investing in your success.
