The Nepean Mental Health Centre provides inpatient care for people experiencing acute mental health issues through the short-stay Psychiatric Emergency Care Centre (PECC), the Acute Mental Health Unit, Mental Health High Dependency Unit, and Older Persons Mental Health Unit. We support our Patients by linking them to case managers for ongoing treatment and support within an environment appropriate to the person's needs.

What you will bring to the role
1. Current registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1 with AHPRA.
2. Demonstrated experience and clinical skill in nursing as a Registered Nurse including completion of a New Graduate Registered Nurse program or equivalent experience working as a Registered Nurse.
3. Demonstrated capacity to provide effective Nursing care that is person centred, trauma-informed, family inclusive and culturally sensitive to people accessing health services
4. Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work.
5. Demonstrated effective communication. Including non-verbal, written and verbal skills.
6. Demonstrated commitment to own professional development through workplace learning and reflective practice and the ability to contribute to the development of others, including current graduate nurses and students.
7. Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
8. Ability to work a flexible roster, day evening or night shift across all days of the week according to the unit or team requirements.
