About the Role

As a Registered Nurse at Deloraine Aged Care, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care while working closely with residents, families, doctors, allied health professionals and the broader care team.

Your responsibilities will include

- Providing safe, compassionate and person-centred nursing care.
- Completing comprehensive clinical assessments and regularly reviewing residents' care needs.
- Developing, implementing and reviewing individualised care plans.
- Administering and managing medications safely and appropriately.
- Monitoring residents' health and identifying and escalating changes in condition.
- Providing clinical support in areas including wound care, pain management, continence, diabetes management and palliative care.
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Participating in clinical handovers, case conferences and family meetings.
- Working collaboratively with GPs, allied health professionals and other healthcare providers.
- Supporting and mentoring Personal Care Assistants and other care staff.
- Responding appropriately to incidents, emergencies and changes in residents' clinical conditions.
- Participating in clinical audits, quality improvement and continuous improvement activities.
- Ensuring care is delivered in accordance with relevant legislation,



the Aged Care Quality Standards and Deloraine Aged Care policies and procedures.
- Promoting residents' rights, dignity, privacy, choice and independence.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Previous residential aged care experience is highly desirable.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of person-centred care.
- Good knowledge of medication management and clinical documentation.
- Ability to recognise and respond appropriately to changes in residents' health.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting older Australians.
- A commitment to quality, safety, compliance and continuous improvement.
