As a Registered Nurse in Critical Care, you'll play an important role in supporting patients through some of their most complex healthcare journeys. From delivering safe, evidence-based care to collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you'll contribute to outcomes that make a real difference for patients, families and the wider community.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
Providing comprehensive, person-centred care that supports positive patient outcomes and recovery.
Working closely with colleagues across disciplines to coordinate care and respond confidently to changing clinical needs.
Using sound clinical judgement to manage complex situations while maintaining safety, quality and dignity in care delivery.
Supporting a culture of learning, improvement and teamwork through mentoring, knowledge sharing and quality initiatives.
Let's Talk About You
You're a skilled and compassionate nurse who thrives in a team-focused environment and remains calm when it matters most. You bring integrity to every decision, treat people with dignity and respect, and have the courage to act in the best interests of patients. Whether you're supporting a colleague, educating a patient or responding to a complex clinical situation, you'll take pride in making a meaningful difference every day.
You are motivated by delivering exceptional care and helping create better outcomes for your community.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the relevant Australian regulatory authority.
Demonstrated clinical capability and evidence-based practice within an acute healthcare setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
Commitment to patient safety, continuous improvement and ongoing professional development.
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have postgraduate qualifications relevant to critical care nursing and/or experience working in a high-acuity clinical environment.
Above all, you'll bring Compassion, Integrity, Dignity, Innovation and Courage to every interaction, helping deliver outstanding care when patients need it most.
