The Role: Our Nursing Ward is an innovative and dynamic department dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of our community. We are committed to providing the highest levels of healthcare services, with a strong focus on leadership and an ongoing outlook on the importance for developing skills for all recent staff.

You will have the opportunity to work across the hospital with a variety of case mix and you will be well supported by experienced management and a friendly, vibrant team.

Essential Criteria:

- Current registration with APHRA
- Ability to work flexible hours – shift work, on-call and overtime as required
- A commitment to service and quality improvement
- A positive attitude and an adaptable approach to problem solving and decision making
- Organisational skills with an ability to manage competing priorities and meet critical timeframes
- Strong collaborative interpersonal skills with well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- National Criminal History Record Check
- Current Working with Children Check

Desirable Criteria

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in relevant areas with a demonstrated sound knowledge and practice
- Post graduate qualifications in relevant specialty or working towards same
- Training in Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)



& Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Experience within a similar role
