- Classification: Registered Nurse Level 2, with a salary range of $104,826 - $110,122 pro rata per annum + Superannuation

About your new role The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality nursing care as part of a multidisciplinary team, in the Alice Springs Medicare Mental Health Centre. What you will bring to the role

- Formal tertiary qualifications in Nursing
- Current full registration as an Enrolled Nurse/Registered Nurse/Nurse Practitioner with current annual practicing certificate fromthe Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries, demonstrate empathy and build trust.
- Strong emotional resilience including the ability to sit with discomfort, distress and people in crisis.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage competing demands and exercise sound judgement.
- Experience in working as a member of a multi-disciplinary team with the ability to inspire and facilitate team commitment and cooperation.
- Ability to adapt communication style to meet the needs of a diverse range of people and identify changing needs within a group.
- Knowledge of trauma informed care.
- Strong computer literacy and written communication skills.
- Completed a post graduate qualification in Mental Health Nursing.
- Demonstrated experience in mental health nursing practice.
- Demonstrated experience in a community and/or clinical setting.
- Significant experience working with people and services within the Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities
- Experience and knowledge working with consumers that identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
