Thanks to the generous support of Telethon7, we are excited to add a current NeuroKids nurse to our ALBANY team. NeuroKids is a dedicated community nursing and health navigation service for WA kids living with neurological conditions or symptoms, supporting children and adolescents 0-19 years old.

Highly sought after paediatric roles:

Our NeuroKids Community Neurological Nurses (CNNs) provide specialist neuro-nursing consultancy services and health and disability system navigation via home visits, telehealth and working in partnership with hospital, health, aged and disability care professionals.Our CNNs are committed to optimising the safety, health and wellbeing of clients, carers & families, as well as improving community wide neurological and brain health understanding and literacy.

We offer specialist on-the-job training for brain and nervous system disorders from an experienced and supportive team in a unique community health setting, as well as genuine healthy work-life balance, professional autonomy and satisfying and rewarding work.

NeuroKids nurses enjoy:

- Excellent working conditions within core hours 8.30-4.30 Monday to Friday, working from a mix of Albany office, your home and visits to client's homes
- Attractive remuneration package of $101,600 PLUS 12% super, 5 weeks annual leaveand generous salary packaging up to $18,550 for general living expenses.

To succeed in the role, you will need to be based in Albany or broader Great Southern with:

- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration,



excellent clinical competency in nursing practice and relevant WA Health immunisations and worker screening checks.
- Have somepaediatric nursing experience, with experience in neurological conditions highly regarded.
- Skills or aptitude to provide information, education, assessment, support and advocacy for patients, carers and families impacted by health conditions.
- Confidence to engage with health professionals, community and service providers.
- Exceptional client service and time management focussed on maximising client outcomes.
- Proficiency in using mobile office technology and online client management systems for appointments and documentation.
- Current WA drivers' licence and ability and willingness to travel within the designated region to provide community nursing services in people's homes(All CNNs have monitored personal alarms and safety devices).

We deliver state-wide NeuroCare (adult) and NeuroKids (paediatric) community-based neurological nursing for people of all ages living with any neurological condition or symptom.

We are based at The Niche, QEIIMC, Nedlands with regional offices in theSouth-West, Mid-West and Great Southernand mobile teams in Peel and Wheatbelt.

NeuroKids positions are offered on a 12-month fixed term contract basis, with extension subject to annual Telethon grant funding. Full-time applications preferred, part-time considered.
