Multiple permanent part time opportunities to provide contemporary evidence-based consumer/patient focused care, in collaboration with the interprofessional healthcare team to facilitate optimal health outcomes for the recipients of healthcare services.
About the role
Multiple permanent part time opportunities to apply clinical nursing expertise, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to deliver a high standard of consumer/patient centred care within the Cardiology program and Ward 1B.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide teaching to both consumers/patients and their families to facilitate learning and enable them to move towards independence.
- Support an evidence-based learning environment and participate in learning activities/opportunities for self and others.
- Participate in performance and development planning activities.
- Integrate organisational policies and guidelines with professional standards by maintaining current knowledge and participating in relevant policy review.
- Demonstrate commitment to continuous quality improvement and best practice principles to optimise consumer/patient centred care and organisational outcomes.
- Demonstrate clinical skills and problem-solving relevant to the care of consumer/patient within the Cardiology program and Ward 1B.
