We are seeking experienced Relief Drivers/Trainers to join a leading waste management operation based in Jandakot. This is a hands-on role supporting daily operations across multiple routes while training and mentoring drivers to maintain the highest standards of safety, compliance, and service delivery.
Your Profile
- Minimum 1 year experience in the waste management industry
- Demonstrated experience operating a variety of heavy vehicle/truck types
- Proven ability to train and mentor drivers on vehicle operation and operational systems
- Excellent reliability, attendance, and punctuality
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing routes, vehicles, and operational demands
- Availability to work 8-12 hour shifts with start times between 12:00am and 6:00am
- Current HR Licence or higher
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a variety of waste collection vehicles across multiple routes
- Provide relief coverage across different trucks, areas, and service runs
- Train, mentor, and assess recent and existing drivers on vehicle operation and company systems
- Respond effectively to changing priorities and operational requirements
- Maintain compliance with company, transport, and safety procedures
- Complete vehicle inspections and documentation accurately
