About the Prospect

We are seeking a Relief Municipal Services Officer to join our team on a FIFO basis to support communities across the Ngaanyatjarra Lands. This opportunity is a short-term, hands-on role stepping in during periods of staff leave or operational demand.

Overall, this position plays a critical role in delivering safe, effective and sustainable municipal services to the community by upkeeping public spaces, supporting power, water and road maintenance, inspecting infrastructure and maintaining health and safety standards.

About You:

You're someone who thrives in dynamic, hands-on environments, enjoys practical work, and brings a calm, respectful, and community-focused approach to everything you do. You're experienced in remote or Indigenous community settings and comfortable stepping into short-term roles where adaptability and reliability are key.

Essential skills:

· Mechanical knowledge or trade experience

· Current HR Class Drivers Licence

· Forklift Licence (High-Risk Work Licence)

· Backhoe Operator Training

· Current Police Check within 12 months or the ability to obtain one

· Eligibility to work in Australia

Desirable skills:





· Experience working in remote Aboriginal communities

· Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety requirements

· Intermediate IT skills

· Competence in power generation operation and municipal services

· Proficiency in machinery repair, maintenance and operation
