This is a permanent, part-time (0.8FTE) position commencing Term 1, 2027

The Role

n

The successful applicant should deliver engaging and effective Drama lessons across a range of year levels, including upper school Drama courses, while inspiring students to explore their creativity and voice through performance. They will ideally foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment, encourage participation in performances, festivals, and competitions, and direct and coordinate school productions, guiding students through all aspects of theatre from rehearsal and stagecraft to performance events. The successful applicant would work collaboratively with colleagues to develop, review, and refine a dynamic, relevant, and challenging Drama curriculum. The successful applicant should be able to display knowledge of the revised Western Australian Curriculum: The Arts – Drama.

Eligibility

- hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
n
- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment. More information about employment eligibility can be found on our website.

- apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start; and
n
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
