About the Role

This is an Offsider position, working alongside one of our experienced drivers as part of a two-person crew. You'll assist with premium furniture deliveries, installations, and customer service while ensuring every item arrives safely and every home is treated with care and respect.

Your responsibilities will include

- Assisting the driver with loading and unloading furniture and household goods
- Carrying, positioning, and installing premium furniture in clients' homes
- Assembling and disassembling furniture when required
- Wrapping, protecting, and handling furniture with care
- Contacting customers with delivery updates and ETAs
- Assisting drivers with spotting, parking, and access in tight locations
- Maintaining a clean, qualified appearance and representing the ZAPD brand positively
- Delivering exceptional customer service on every job

This is a physically demanding,



hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in quality workmanship.

What We're Looking For

Experience

- Minimum 12 months' experience in removals, furniture delivery, warehousing, logistics, or similar manual handling roles preferred

Reliability

- Punctual, dependable, and ready to work
- Understands that our clients and retail partners rely on us to deliver on time

Professional Communication

- Confident and respectful when dealing with clients, designers, retailers, and team members

Attention to Detail

- Takes care when handling furniture and working inside clients' homes
- Understands that premium furniture requires premium service

Initiative

- Proactive and willing to help without being asked
- Sees what needs to be done and gets it done

Physical Fitness

- Capable of safely lifting and carrying heavy furniture
- Comfortable working on stairs and in challenging access situations

Requirements

- Own car to get to/from work depot
- Valid police check or willingness to obtain one
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling and heavy lifting (Some furniture pieces weigh up to 350kg)
- ABN preferred (contractor arrangement)
- Available Tuesday to Saturday 6:00am - 6:00pm
- Monday availability required during busy periods
- MR License desirable
