AMP Recruitment is looking for experienced Domestic / Residential Service Electricians across Brisbane Northside and Southside / Ipswich.

This is more than a standard service role. You’ll be dealing directly with homeowners, identifying electrical issues, recommending solutions and quoting additional works, with uncapped commission on top of your hourly rate.

What's on offer?

- Up to $60/hr + super + company vehicle + allowances
- $2,000–$6,000 sign-on bonus for strong candidates
- Uncapped commission
- Current average commission is around $2,000 - $3,200 per month
- Commission structure rewards strong sales performance
- Overtime and call-outs available
- Generally 7:00am–3:30pm working hours
- Genuine career progression into Sales Leadership, Service Management and Supervisory roles

The Role

- Diagnosing residential electrical issues
- Fault-finding and service work
- Speaking directly with homeowners
- Assessing electrical requirements and recommending solutions
- Preparing quotes and identifying additional work
- Selling electrical solutions and upgrades
- Completing smaller works where appropriate
- Building robust customer relationships
- Providing professional, high-quality service





What You'll Be Working On Depending on your experience, you'll work across:

- Switchboard upgrades
- Smoke alarms
- General electrical upgrades
- Air conditioning
- Solar and batteries
- Residential service and maintenance
- Fault finding and repairs

What We're Looking For

- Strong domestic/residential electrical experience
- Solid service and maintenance background
- Confident fault-finding skills
- Current QLD Electrical Licence
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable speaking directly with homeowners
- Confidence recommending solutions and selling/quoting additional work

Highly regarded:

- Previous quoting or upselling experience
- Residential sales experience
- Air conditioning experience
- Solar and battery experience
