About the role

Every day is different as you create a safe, welcoming home for young people using a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach, this incredibly rewarding role that is more than a job. Walk alongside young people developing confidence, independence and the skills to thrive. Our team is offering a variety of shifts of 7am – 5:30pm, 5:15pm-11pm or (sleep 11pm-7am) including weekdays and weekends.

About you

Like us, and Witney Housten, you believe young people are the future, guide them well and let then lead the way! You are down to earth, able to respond to life’s curveballs as the calm in the storm when needed, while also modelling sometimes the daily routines are the best. Some key experience you bring will include:

- Experience in a similar role supporting young people
- Certificate IV in Youth Work, Community Services or similar
- A good understanding of applying trauma-informed and person-centred practice in the ‘real world’
- Self-motivation, responsibility, creativity, and in your core you’ll life and breathe the believe that people need each other to truly succeed, it’s corny but teamwork really does make the dream work
- A full current Driver's Licence (essential)




- Current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
