We are looking for a reliable and friendly Casual Retail Assistant to join our busy fresh seafood store in Cooks Hill.

This is a customer-facing role in a fast-paced retail environment. Previous seafood or retail experience is preferred but training will be provided for the right person.

About the Role

Your duties will include

Serving customers and providing friendly service

Assisting customers with seafood enquiries

Weighing, wrapping and labelling seafood

Preparing and displaying fresh seafood

Stock rotation and maintaining product presentation

Using the POS system

General cleaning and keeping the store tidy

Opening and closing duties as required.

What We’re Looking For

Reliable and punctual

Friendly and confident with customers

Good communication skills





Able to work well as part of a team

Comfortable working in a quick-paced environment

Previous retail or seafood experience is an advantage

Must be available 3–4 weekdays and weekend availability.

Hours

Shifts are generally

7:00am – 2:00pm

2:00pm – 8:00pm

Casual position with regular hours available for the right person.
