IGA EAST MAITLAND PLUS LIQUOR is looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Shop Assistant / Cashier to join our team at there well-presented and busy supermarket location.

About the role The role involves a variety of day-to-day supermarket duties, including:

- Serving customers and operating the checkout
- Restocking shelves and maintaining a neat, well-presented store
- Receiving deliveries and unpacking pallets
- Assisting with general store duties as required
- Providing friendly and helpful service to our customers

What we’re looking for We value attitude and reliability just as much as experience. Ideally, you will be:

- Candidates need to have at least 12 months Retail/cash handling experience
- Friendly, approachable and customer-focused
- Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
- A good communicator with a positive attitude
- Well-presented and able to work well as part of a team




- Comfortable working in a busy retail setting

Previous supermarket or retail experience is preferred, but we’re also happy to consider someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn. As the store includes a liquor department, applicants must be 18 years or older and hold a current NSW RSA certificate.

Pay: $26.44 – $48.17 per hour
