Zac Homes is looking for an experienced Revit Draftsperson to join our Design team in Penrith.

We’re an established NSW residential builder with more than 30 years in the industry, delivering homes ranging from our residential designs through to complex and custom projects.

We’re looking for someone who is more than just a Revit operator.

The right person will have strong residential construction knowledge, understand how a design translates from the screen to the building site, and be capable of developing accurate, practical and buildable solutions from feasibility and concept through to construction documentation.

What you’ll be doing

- Preparing residential feasibility and concept plans
- Creating Revit models from scratch
- Preparing DA, CDC and CC documentation
- Producing detailed construction plans, working drawings and construction details
- Interpreting NSW planning controls including LEPs, DCPs and relevant SEPP requirements
- Applying NCC requirements and relevant Australian Standards
- Identifying design and construction issues early and developing practical solutions
- Working across multiple residential projects from initial design through to construction

What we’re looking for





- Strong Revit experience within residential design and documentation
- The ability to create and develop Revit models — not simply modify existing master plans
- Experience preparing residential DA and CDC plans in NSW
- Strong experience producing detailed construction documentation for custom homes
- Sound knowledge of the NCC and residential construction methods
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

Experience with NSW planning controls, SEPP 2008 / SEPP 2021, site constraints and working within a residential builder or design-and-build environment will be highly regarded.
