The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with a focus on continuous improvement, positive attitude and employee engagement. The key responsibilities of your role will include:

- Transaction processing.
- Data entry.
- Customer service.
- Answering, handling and/or directing inbound enquiries.
- Taking and processing customer orders.
- Supplier invoicing.
- Accounts payable/receivable.
- Debt collection.
- Problem solving.
- Adhering to business critical deadlines.
- No payroll required for this position.
- Assisting the General Manager with ad hoc duties.

The Candidate: The successful applicant will have prior experience working in a customer service and/or accounts capacity within the food industry. Or come from a sales support role within the food industry and is able to pick up the bookkeeping side of the role. In addition, the successful applicant will have:

- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.




- Demonstrated ability to multitask in a busy, open office environment.
- Advanced keyboard and data entry skills.
- Impeccable telephone skills, both polished and understanding.
- A resourceful and resilient approach to problem solving.
- The ability to take the initiative.
- Be a willing member of a small, but vibrant team.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn current processes and systems.
- Interest or exposure to the food service or meat industry is essential.

The salary on offer starts from $70,000 for someone a little greener and up to $85,000 for someone with more aligned experience.
