Rockingham Paint Place is looking for a friendly and reliable person to join our team in a casual or part-time position. The role will initially be approximately 16–32 hours per week, with the opportunity for additional hours as you become more experienced and the role develops.
Key responsibilities
- Serving customers and providing friendly, helpful service
- Mixing and tinting paint
- Operating our POS and computer systems
- Picking and packing customer orders
- Receiving and putting away stock
- Maintaining a clean and organised store
- General day-to-day duties as required
About you
- Friendly, approachable and comfortable dealing with customers
- Reliable and willing to learn
- Able to work well as part of a small team
- Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
- Able to perform the physical aspects of the role, including lifting and moving paint and stock
- Valuable attention to detail
- Previous paint, hardware, retail, automotive or trade industry experience would be highly regarded, but is not essential
