Summary The Sales and Growth Manager, Aotearoa New Zealand will lead Re.Group’s growth, strategic relationships and market development activities across New Zealand. The role will build on Re.Group’s established presence through the Onehunga MRF, strengthen the company’s position as a trusted recycling and resource recovery partner, and identify and convert opportunities that support Re.Group’s long-term growth in New Zealand. This is not a traditional sales position. Success will depend on building trusted, long-term relationships with councils, central government, community and social enterprise organisations, industry bodies, commercial partners and other participants in New Zealand’s recycling sector. The role will represent Re.Group in the market, understand the needs of prospective partners, shape opportunities early, and coordinate the internal resources required to develop credible and commercially sustainable solutions.

A key immediate focus will be supporting the development of a New Zealand Container Return Scheme, including building partnerships with community and social enterprise organisations that could participate in the scheme. The role will also support the ongoing strategic relationship with Auckland Council, work closely with the Onehunga MRF leadership team, and pursue wider recycling and resource recovery opportunities across New Zealand.
