We’re getting ready to open Panino Deli and are looking for a Sandwich Maker / Deli All-Rounder to join our team.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with food, takes pride in presentation and can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be preparing fresh Italian-style sandwiches and focaccias to order, working with quality meats, cheeses, vegetables and house-made ingredients.

About the role

Your responsibilities will include

- Preparing and assembling sandwiches and focaccias to order
- Preparing meats, cheeses, vegetables, sauces and other sandwich ingredients
- Following recipes and portion specifications to ensure consistency
- Maintaining a clean, organised and well-stocked sandwich station
- Completing daily food preparation and restocking
- Following food safety, hygiene and cleaning procedures
- Monitoring product quality, freshness and presentation
- Assisting with takeaway and catering orders
- Helping with general deli and kitchen duties when required




- Working efficiently during busy lunch periods

About you We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Have experience making sandwiches, working in a deli, café or similar food environment
- Are confident with basic food preparation
- Work quickly without compromising presentation or quality
- Have robust attention to detail
- Are clean, organised and reliable
- Enjoy working as part of a team
- Are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Have a genuine interest in good food and hospitality

Experience in an Italian deli, sandwich shop or café would be highly regarded, but we’re also happy to consider someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn. Pay: $27.00 – $34.00 per hour
