Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator (APS6 Level)

Our Fed Gov Client is seeking an experienced APS6 level Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator to join its Technology Services Division and support the ongoing administration and enhancement of its Salesforce Marketing Cloud workplace. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a major Australian Government agency, supporting marketing automation, campaign delivery, data management and Salesforce integration.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform, including data management and cleansing.
- Create and execute email campaigns, including segmentation, list management and A/B testing.
- Develop and maintain marketing automation workflows and journeys.
- Manage Data Extensions and support integration with Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud.
- Maintain platform configuration and operational documentation.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide actionable insights.
- Provide user support, troubleshooting and training.




- Collaborate with technology and business teams and recommend platform improvements.

Key Requirements

- 2–3 years' experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud administration and implementation.
- Experience across email marketing, marketing automation and data management.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce CRM and campaign management.
- Proficiency in SQL, AMPscript and HTML/CSS.
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification.
- Experience integrating external data sources with Marketing Cloud is desirable.
- Sales Cloud, Service Cloud or Architecture certification is highly regarded.

Contract Details

- Start: Monday, 19 October 2026
- Duration: 12 months + 12-month extension
- Location: Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne
- Working arrangement: Hybrid
- Hours: Up to 37.5 hours per week
- Clearance: Current Baseline Clearance preferred, otherwise you must be eligible to obtain one
- Eligibility: Australian citizens only

Rate

- $120.00 per hour inc Super or ex GST / Weekly pays
