About the role

With our busiest time of year approaching, ORTC is looking for reliable and hardworking Seasonal Warehouse Assistants to join our team in Edwardstown from the beginning of November.

We have multiple casual positions available throughout the Christmas peak period, with short-term contracts also available for the right applicants.

This is a great opportunity for university or TAFE students who have finished their studies for the year and are looking for consistent work over the summer period.

Ideally, applicants will be available to work 20–25+ hours per week, with flexibility to work additional hours during our busiest periods. Weekend and after-hours availability is important, particularly throughout November and December.

As part of our warehouse team, you'll help ensure customer orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and efficiently during one of the most exciting and quick-paced times of the year at ORTC.

What you'll be doing

- Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Assisting with the receiving, storage and distribution of incoming stock
- Maintaining inventory accuracy and reporting discrepancies
- Supporting stock movements and general warehouse operations
- Working closely with the wider warehouse team to meet daily order targets
- Following all health, safety and quality control procedures
- Assisting wherever needed during busy peak periods

What we're looking for

- Availability from the beginning of November, including weekends and after hours where required




- Ideally available for 20–25+ hours per week
- Previous warehouse, logistics, retail or pick/pack experience is highly regarded
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is desirable
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- A genuine team-first attitude — experience working effectively as part of a team is crucial
- Reliable, punctual and willing to get stuck in
- Physically capable of performing warehouse duties and comfortable being on your feet for large parts of the day
- A valid driver's licence is desirable
